Full Body Waxing at The Waxing Witch: Your Skin-Kind Roadmap to Total Smoothness

There’s something wonderfully confidence-boosting about leaving a full body waxing appointment feeling smooth, fresh and completely at home in your skin. Whether you’re preparing for a holiday, simplifying your routine or simply fancy a head-to-toe reset, professional waxing can be a brilliant way to care for your skin while removing unwanted hair.

At The Waxing Witch, full body waxing is never a rushed, one-size-fits-all experience. We take a technical, skin-kind approach to every area, including legs, arms, underarms, stomach, back, chest and intimate areas. Our private, inclusive studio is designed to feel relaxed and judgment-free, so you can ask questions, take your time and feel comfortable throughout your appointment.

And because intimate waxing is our primary expertise, we understand how to make the more sensitive parts of a full body appointment feel professional, respectful and as comfortable as possible.

What does full body waxing include?

“Full body waxing” can mean slightly different things to different people. Your appointment may include a combination of:

We’ll discuss your treatment before we begin, so you know exactly what is included and what result you’re working towards. You are always in control of which areas are treated. Your body, your rules, your sanctuary.

For intimate waxing, you might choose a Brazilian wax, with hair removed from the labia, perineum and bum strip while leaving a small shape at the front. A Hollywood wax removes all hair from front to back. If you’re unsure which option is right for you, our guide to Brazilian versus Hollywood waxing explains the difference clearly.

Brow shaping is kept simple: it’s a quick tidy-up to remove stray hairs and refresh the overall look, rather than an intricate face-mapping or sculpting process.

Our skin-kind wax choices

The products we use matter, particularly when we’re treating large areas or delicate skin. We use Italwax exclusively, selecting the most suitable product for the service and your skin’s needs.

Italwax Coral Cream for full body waxing

For full body waxing, we use Italwax Coral Cream. This hypoallergenic wax is suitable for areas such as the legs, arms, underarms, stomach, back and chest.

Our application technique is just as important as the wax itself. We work methodically in manageable sections, using the right temperature, pressure and removal technique for each area. This helps the wax grip the hair effectively while supporting a more comfortable experience for your skin.

Italwax Gold for intimate waxing

For intimate waxing, including a Brazilian wax or Hollywood wax, we use Italwax Gold. This hypoallergenic wax is ideal for delicate intimate skin and supports a specialist, comfort-focused approach throughout the treatment.

We’ll talk you through what’s happening, work in small sections and check in with you as we go. There is no need to feel embarrassed about your body, your hair growth or your previous waxing experiences. We’ve seen it all, and our role is to help you feel safe, respected and relaxed.

Italwax Pink Pearl for facial waxing

For facial waxing, we use Italwax Pink Pearl. Please tell us about any known allergies, sensitivities, skin conditions or previous reactions before your appointment, so we can make the most appropriate plan for you.

If your skin is sunburned, broken, irritated or unusually reactive, it may be best to delay waxing until the area has recovered. When in doubt, contact us before booking or mention it during your consultation.

How to prepare for full body waxing

A little preparation can make a big difference to your comfort and results. Here’s your pre-waxing spellbook.

1. Grow the hair to the right length

Aim for approximately 5–6 mm, or around the length of a grain of rice. Hair that is too short may not give the wax enough to grip, while very long hair can make removal feel more uncomfortable.

If you’ve been shaving, allow around two to three weeks of growth before your appointment where possible. Don’t worry if you’re unsure about trimming; it’s usually better to leave the hair for us to assess rather than accidentally cutting it too short.

2. Exfoliate gently before your appointment

Gently exfoliate the areas being treated 24–48 hours before your full body wax. This helps remove surface dead skin and may reduce the likelihood of trapped hairs.

The key word is gently. Avoid aggressive scrubbing, picking or trying to “prepare” the skin on the day itself. Waxing already provides physical exfoliation, so overdoing it may leave your skin more sensitive.

3. Arrive with clean, dry skin

On the day of your appointment, cleanse normally and arrive without lotions, body oils, perfume, deodorant or heavy creams on the areas being waxed. These products can make it harder for the wax to grip the hair properly.

You don’t need to apply anything special beforehand. We’ll prepare the skin professionally in the studio.

4. Wear loose clothing

Choose loose, breathable clothing for your journey home. Soft trousers, a flowy dress or relaxed joggers are ideal. For intimate waxing, breathable cotton underwear can help minimise friction after your appointment.

Tight jeans, synthetic fabrics and restrictive clothing may rub freshly waxed skin, particularly around the bikini area, thighs and underarms.

5. Avoid things that can increase sensitivity

Stay hydrated and, if possible, avoid alcohol and excess caffeine on the day of your appointment. These can make some people feel more sensitive.

Please also tell us if you use retinol, prescription retinoids, strong exfoliating acids or medication that affects your skin. Depending on the product or treatment, waxing may need to be postponed.

Behind the scenes: what happens during your appointment?

We begin by checking your treatment plan and asking how your skin has been feeling. If you’re having a full body wax with intimate waxing included, we’ll organise the appointment carefully so you feel informed rather than overwhelmed.

Our technical process includes preparing each area, choosing the appropriate Italwax product, applying the wax in suitable sections and removing it with controlled technique. Hair growth direction, skin tension and the sensitivity of each area all influence how we work.

We also understand that a full body appointment can feel like a big commitment, especially if it includes your first Brazilian wax or Hollywood wax. You can ask for pauses, let us know if something feels uncomfortable and communicate with us throughout. Quiet appointments are available, and our private room gives you space to feel at ease.

Waxing aftercare: your first 48 hours

The first day or two after waxing is when your skin needs the most gentle treatment. You may notice mild redness or sensitivity, which can be normal immediately after hair removal.

For the first 24–48 hours:

Once your skin has settled, usually after around 48–72 hours, you can begin gentle exfoliation again. We recommend using Ruff Stuff scrubs carefully and regularly, around two or three times per week, depending on your skin. Use light pressure rather than scrubbing hard, and stop if your skin feels sore or irritated.

Moisturise between exfoliation sessions with a gentle product to help keep the skin soft and supple. Consistent waxing aftercare can support smoother regrowth and help reduce the risk of ingrown hairs.

How often should you book?

Most clients return for full body waxing every four to six weeks, depending on their hair growth cycle and the areas treated. Booking consistently allows the hair to follow a more predictable cycle and can make future appointments easier to manage.

Try not to shave between appointments if you can avoid it. Shaving interrupts the growth pattern and can mean hairs are at different lengths during your next wax. If you spot a stray hair, leave it alone or ask us for advice at your next visit.

Ready for your smoothest spell yet?

Full body waxing should feel like professional self-care, not something you have to endure in a cold or judgmental environment. At The Waxing Witch, we combine specialist hair removal knowledge, high-quality Italwax products and a warm witchy atmosphere where every body is welcome.
